
Hi I'M a Winter Texan. I am 66 years old. I'm Activity Director at a resort. I have struggled with weight almost all my life. I am up and down like a yo yo. My heaviest weight was 309 I am now 229 and trying to go down. My husband and I have started the South Beach Diet at the urging of my Dr. Had a checkup before I came South to work for the winter season. Both of us had real good checkups. Just over weight. Had a desk job where all we did was sit. That is not good. So Dr said this was a good one so will give it my best shot. Help me keep thinking positive. Got rid of all temting foods that are not good for us so if it isn't here we can not eat it. I have cut my diet pop down to 1 a day instead of alot. I am also drinking water which I drank little of. I was a junk food junkie and I am learning again that vegetables are really good for you. Green is in. God Bless All.
