Smile Im 260 on WW, looking for a buddy in the same boat as me! :)

Hi everyone!
My name is Felicia, I am 26 years old and a mother of a 3 year old little girl.
At my "thinnest" I weighed about 170, however, I gained about 30 lbs before I got pregnant and another 50 during my pregnancy! Currently I am 260!!
I am finally at a point where I am fed up with not feeling good about myself. I am ready for a change, just looking for some other people who are in my similar situation. I am the only overweight person in my family, and the only one whose ever struggled with weight, so they can't relate to me.

I started weight watchers online last Sunday, and so far so good, I feel like I can really do this! My short term goal is to lose 20-30lbs by Christmastime.
If anyone here would like to team up with me let me know, I think with a person to motivate me and keep me on check will be just what I need.

My first weigh in will be on Monday, I will let you guys know how I did!

Default I'm in your boat

I stepped on the scale on the 13th and saw 271 and thought "this is no life". I have been doing WW at home, and have lost 13 lbs so far! I also feel like I can really do this, and my short-term goal was to lose 25lbs by Christmas.

I'm Laura, I'm 47 with 2 grown children, and I would love to be your weight loss partner!

Felicia,

Weight watchers works great if you are truthful in your logging of the food you eat.

I did weight watchers online also. In 21 months I went from 456 to 199. You can do it!!!

I've been on WW Online since January 18, 2012. It had helped me a great deal. I've never been able to lose this much weight before in my entire life.

Wow, ladies this is inspiring and it makes me feel like I'm not alone!

I decided to do WW just because I have tried time and time again to do it on my own and every time I just couldn't do it. I realized I need support! I am going to stick with it this time because I do not want to be "starting over" like so many times before.

I'm noticing with WW that tracking everything really is helping. I haven't even used any of my extra weekly points, because I haven't felt the need to use them yet.

I would love to be updated with each one of your progress!

Laura, when did you start WW? Are you finding it easy to stick to?

Borgie, all I can say is WOW! I went through your pictures and that is AMAZING! Thank you so much for sharing that with me, it only gives me that much more confidence to do this

Garnet, how much weight have you lost on WW?

Felicia86, it's just a thing. It's a matter of balance. Sometimes I slip to the gain weight side, most often, I lose. Sometimes I just maintain. It's all about balance. *hugs*
