21yo looking to lose 20-25 pounds with the help of a support system :)
Hi everyone :) for years I've tried and failed to lose weight and keep it off! I end up gaining it back, usually through emotional eating. Right now I'm around 142/143 pounds and looking to get back down to about 120 pounds, which I think is reasonable for someone with a height of 5'6. I am so so so bad at cooking so definitely need help in that department, as well as with recipes! Exercise I'm fine with :) I know what I like. It's just food...
Anyway, this forum looks friendly and supportive so I thought I would sign up :) |

Personally, I think 142-143 doesn't sound too bad for a height of 5'6". You may just need some toning. But hey, it's good you wanna be healthier! There's indeed a lot of support here, and as long as you keep trying, you'll reach your goal in time! |
Yeah.. you are in the normal weight range. But I suppose it all depends on your frame too.
