I just joined the forums today after deciding yesterday that it's time to get serious about losing weight! I'm looking for some accountability and am hoping that using technology this time will help me do this in a more effective way.
I'm a homeschool mom to 3 boys who never lost any of the baby weight after I had my third son. I had been laboring under the misconception that I would somehow be able to exercise and eat just about anything, but that hasn't been
working and it's hard to make exercise happen every day. I'm going to work on diet (I downloaded MyFitnessPal and it makes counting calories PAINLESS! I have never had the patience to count calories, which makes it hard to do much accurately) and see how things go.

Thanks for the tip! I was changing up my profile and saw the message about waiting for the signature, so I figured that was probably something I'd have to wait for. All the more motivation for me to lose some before I get my ticker!
I just got my ticker today and it is everybit as rewarding as I thought it would be, so definitely keep that as a motivation to keep going!!!
I hope you find just the right group for you, and when you do, start posting away! I found that the more I participated in discussions, posted my questions and suported others, the more incredible the feedback and motivation to keep going! So, good luck to you!!!
Congrats on your ticker! Way to go on your 20 pounds and you are now in this mythical "One-derland" I hear speak of, I hope that can be me in a few months!
I'm really liking the daily update thread in support. It seems like a great place to own up to food choices and get help to keep from getting derailed. I'm just jumping in and the water looks fine so far.
