I have just been diagnosed with fibro, after three years of having stopped exercising (and gaining about thirty pounds) because every time I exercised, it hurt and my doctors didn't know how to help (except tell me to keep exercising).
It's great to now understand what has been causing my three-year decline and increasing pain, but guess what? I'm supposed to EXERCISE!
So here I am. I'm in my late thirties, I live with my husband and kids, and I have about 60-65 pounds to lose. Actually if you subtract 165 from 234, the answer is 69 pounds, but that's so close to 70 pounds and for some reason that terrifies me, so I'm sticking with "60 or so".
Between my celiac disease (gluten-free life!), my sensitivity to dairy, my all-around general picky eating, and my fibro, I'm not sure how I'm going to eat right and exercise, though I know that is the answer.
Right now I struggle with stress and use sugar to cope, which I'm sure makes me entirely unique.

I want to work on that, work on learning to eat my veggies, and try to find exercise that doesn't hurt.
