Hi all,
My name is Brooke and I'm new here, clearly. :P
Here's a brief history of Brooke: I'm a 22 year old college student. I was overweight in high school until I decided to lose weight my junior year, and I lost 30 pounds (going from 160-130). Then I started college. And, yep, all the weight came back. I was stressed, eating out with friends, overeating while studying in the dorms, etc.
Now I have one more year left and I'm realizing that I really don't want to graduate and start my "grown up" life overweight. I plan to be a teacher and I'd like to set a healthy example for my students, as well as feel good about myself. I've decided that I'm going to lose the weight again and keep it off. Only this time, I'll get down to the 120 that has always been my dream weight. I know I can do this. I have the support of my wonderful boyfriend, but I think it'd be helpful to have the support of others who are going through the same things I am. So, it's nice to meet you all!
