Wanted to jump on here and introduce myself, and give you a bit of my story, so that to hopefully give some hope and gain future support that I'll definitely need to complete my journey.
I started my journey right after college, when I was 21. I became terribly depressed and my weight ballooned to a little over 250lbs. I have tried exercising, but remember, how hard it was to even start moving at that weight. I was so embarrassed to walk around the streets. In that first year, every time I lost 10 to 20lbs, I gained it right back. However, I knew deep down that I cannot give up, because I knew that if I want to live, I need to get into a healthy weight. The following year, I crash dieted for 10 days, eating nothing but boiled lentils and water and lost 14lbs. I have not dieted since, however started making a lifestyle change. I began going out more. Dancing a lot more in clubs but avoiding alcohol.
Five years have passed since I weighed 250lbs. Last year I weighed 137, and this morning I weighed in at 154.4lbs. It is my goal to go down to a smaller, yet still healthy weight of 110.
I am here to give you support because I know how hard of a journey weight loss is, and also to get your support. Because I really need it to make my goal happen.
