Putting It All Out There

  • I thought i would introduce myself. Im 29, and overweight. Married to a wonderful man and ready to start a family.

In dec 2011 my husband and I went to spend christmas with his family in Windsor, England. This was a tough trip all the way around, airplane, walking, you name it.

Came home and said no more! Started on weightwatchers in Jan (started at 425lbs) lost about 10lbs, and stalled (stalling has always been my weak point). In Begining in May I started a no carb diet (about 20 carbs a day). So far I have lost 68.8 (since Jan, 62.6 since may)

Im stalling again, and need support.
  • Hi ALG918! Glad to have you in the support forums. OMG! You're doing so awesome! Stalling weightwise doesn't necessarily mean nothing is happening. Think of stalling as your body's way of regrouping. You've lost almost 15% of your body's weight in 2 months! You're body is adjusting to it's new smaller size. Give yourself a pat on the back and keep on keepin' on!
  • My head understands, but my heart is frustrated!!! i know i have lost a great deal and quickly, just hard transitioning into loosing slowly, when it was melting off!
  • Congrats on your nearly 80 lbs weight loss! That is fantastic. And welcome to 3FC! This forum has been a huge help and support for my weight loss journey, and I think it will be for you also.
