I am new here and glad I found this site! I am sick and tired of being sick and tired and I am dedicated to getting healthy and getting this weight off!!!!! It is SO painful, physically & emotionally and I am finally going to lose it for good!:carrot:

I know just how you feel about the sick and tired of being sick and tired! I have missed so many years of my life hiding out because I hated how I look. There is hardly a picture of me with any of my children or grandchildren because I always avoid cameras. That is just wrong. I am glad you are determined, you can do it! I am determined too. I am only sorry it took me this long.

I too have missed many years and robbed myself of the enjoyment in life that I deserve and I just cant stand to go another day making myself think that this is just how it has to be....I REFUSE!!!!
I am on a journey, not to be skinny....but to be healthy, although I know I have set a pretty lofty goal to be within the realm of "what they say is a healthy weight"....I believe along this journey I will know where I am comfortable and healthy, So we will just have to see where that is! :)
It is great to be on here and meet people like yourself that are willing to share their feelings and journey with me as well!
I hate the camera too....eek! Was debating taking some starting pics and monthly progress pics, but......I dont know if I will have the courage to post them on here:?:
