Needing motivation.. or a good kick in the rear!

  • Hi all!

New to the forum. Diagnosed diabetic in Nov 2010 at my highest, most disgusting, embarrassing weight of 310# with an A1C of 8.4. Under threat of insulin needles, my doctor gave me 4 weeks to reign in my numbers. Talk about motivation!

So in 4 weeks, I lost nearly 20#. In 4 months, I had lost almost 60# and my A1C dropped to 5.6. My doctor had never seen such dramatic improvement — ever!

Then I plateau'd (sp), hit the brick wall, came to a crashing halt. For 14 months, I yo-yo'd back and forth within a 5# area. It frustrated me no end, and yet, I've never held a weight loss for that long either. So on one hand I'm at myself for not losing another # since March 2011, and on the other hand I'm I've only really gained about 5# back.

So here I am again, ready to my rear off. I started Monday, and although I know the first few days I lose an enormous amount, due to water weight, I'm feeling pretty good. Now I know I need the and to keep me motivated and to me and to keep me from to myself.

So here's my fat (____x____). Kick it hard and often! Thanks!
