I need some buddies to help me along here

  • I'm new to this. New to being in an online community. Any help as to what I do now would be greatly appreciated.

    From one new chick to another, welcome! Years ago, I was a member here, and as longstanding members will tell you with more credibility, this is such an awesome and supportive community.

    If you go to the main forum page, you'll find groups you can join. Some are age-related, some have to do with how much weight you want to lose, and there are still others that may interest you more. My favorite in the past was the challenge forum. Talk about friendly pushing and support! I think you'll find the community here to be an excellent source of camaraderie and accountability.

    Congrats on taking the first steps, losing a couple of pounds already, and reaching out for support! Good luck on the rest of your journey!

  • Same here! I am just logging my food and counting calories and doing some exercise. I figure I will keep doing that and gradually add more exercise to my routine. I dont eat out much, and make sure I eat foods that are good for my body. Nothing special here....
  • Hey! I also need some buddies to get through my weight loss! This is my first time getting on a weight loss support forum so hopefully this works. When are you starting your weight loss/diet journey? I plan on starting tomorrow 4/30/2012! We all just need a little push! so lets lose weight and keep it off!

  • So, buddies, lol....... The scale is saying i gained 6 lbs this week. Not possible, at least not in solid lbs anyways. Only thing I can figure is that since it's close to my time, it's water weight. This is my third gain week since February and the other 2 were only 1 lb! I'm livid!
  • I'd like to add that I am weighing again this evening in hopes that I have shed some water weight during the day!
