Smile Newbie trying most things for the 1st time

Hi all. I found this forum while researching a weight loss program, found it very interesting and motivating and joined!

I'm learning to navigate the site right now. I'm seriously getting caught up in how motivating everyone is ! I love it!

Where do you make your signature line ?

I'm a single mom with a 17 year old daughter. We just joined the local Y, but I've been living a very non active lifestyle for the last 11 years (sitting at a desk for 8-12 hours a day) and driving my school bus while finishing college.

I not only need, but want to get healthy. My first plan is to lose some weight, and then quit smoking!

Thanks for any advice, tips, etc., ahead of time !!

Welcome hun. I'm new-ish too, i know that you cant do a signature line until you've been active here for 20 days AND have at least 20 posts.

The only advice I can give at the moment as I've just started out too is, take it one day at a time. And if you do have bad day, no here will judge you, purely because everyone has been there!!

i hope that helps a little re: the signature. i know its annoying but spammers will spam! lol xx
