OK this is part vent and part introduction. My name is Lola. I turned 50 last Nov, gained 20 lbs back (over the past year) of the 40 lbs I shed after my divorce 3 yrs ago and my doctor has put me on blood pressure meds because my bp was too high today. To top it off I have a dear friend who is a like partner in crime when it comes to eating and exercising and feel like our fun together is over Of course I am being overly dramatic, I realize I need to make lemonade - low cal of course - out of lemons. I go on a cruise in 4 weeks and beforehand plan to work on the issues preventing me from losing weight, like my love of candy, naps, comfort food etc. Improve the things I do well for myself like exercising, cooking healthy meals (when motivated
and a good attitude. I'd like to use the cruise as a means of getting more exercise, eating better (no junk food!) so when I return I am refreshed and ready to do the hard work that is needed to move forward. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.
