Default Hi, new here....

Where to start?

I am 38yr old, living in Taiwan. My husband is Taiwanese and I am caucasian American. We have 4 children, 13,9,7,3yr old (b,b,b,g). I used to be thin but after 4 kids, 2 of which were c/sections and living in a land where people can eat whatever and never get fat, is has crept up on me. I am at my highest weight of 210lbs
My dh is one who is not the encourager, but not a discourager either. Like last night (I didn't tell him I was counting calories as of Saturday!!LOL!) nothing in the house to eat (we just got back from a week of Chinese New Year vacation) for dinner. So he gets McDonalds....well....that didn't help things.

I was going to ride my bike this AM, but woke up tired and with a headache. I will tonight. I need accountability and help. My weight is mainly between my hips and knees. Tired of the "looking at you from the waist up you can;t tell you are overweight" ---Chinese bluntness!!

Anyway, starting to try this weightloss, healthy lifestyle stuff with counting calories. So, will go looking for a thread for that. Just wanting to say HI

Deana, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join!
