Hi there! My name is Michelle. I am new here. I guess a history. When I was 29, I was 204 lbs. Miserable. I realize at that point, I needed to make some changes. So I decided to run a 5K for my 30th birthday that was about 7 months away. So I realized I needed to lose some weight first. I had no idea what i was doing. So I went for the obvious: get rid of junk. I lost 22 lbs in the first 2 1/2 months. I then began walking. Then running some. Then lifting weights. At 30 years old, I ran my 1st 5K as a size 8. Before, I was a tight 16. I then kept with it and lost a total of 70 lbs.
Over the past year, I have gained about 20ish pounds. I realize I need to lose it. I miss how active I was. I miss how alive I felt. I miss, well, me. So i am doing Insanity. I am part of a weight loss challenge with girlfriends. My goal is 25 lbs in 12 weeks.
And a girl can use all the support she can get, so here I am
