Really need inspiration

  • It is winter in my neck of the woods and I just want to hibernate. However, my doc has given me news of health issues with "pre" in front such as pre-hypertension and pre-diabetic. It seems I really need change course and this news should be encouragement, but its not. I have tools to get started, dvd workouts, new xbox 360 with Kinect that I bought to use for fun. I'm hoping being on here will help to ignite a spark and get me to move as I read the threads.
  • Now is a great time to start!

  • Just keep coming back, and keep posting. Doing that simple act will keep you focused on your weight loss. Do you have access to a gymnasium? Do you have an idea of how your diet will change? Just some things to think about.

Congratulations on taking a first step!
  • I use the success pictures on this website to keep me motivated. I also look at other threads for meal ideas and different workout reviews.

I definitely agree. I have only been a member on 3FC for about a week now, and looking at the success story pictures has really given me a new outlook on losing weight. If you want to do it, you will.

I definitely lack motivation, so I can relate to how you feel. I've wanted to lose weight for years and only started taking it seriously recently. Just start with the small things like cutting out any fast foods, and cutting out carbs in the evening, and play your kinect a few times a week - and you will notice a difference which will motivate you to continue. Good luck
