Today is my first day on this forum. I have looked at other forums and websites and every one wants you to sign up for emails and you get tons of junk mail. I have currently lost a tad over 35 pounds. I can't get over how much I have lost and that I have been able to keep it off. My journey started back in May this year (2011) after a visit to the doctor because my blood pressure was a bit high. The nurse practitioner gave me a few tips on how to lose weight in a healthy way. I started eating a lot better, reducing how many times I ate out, and drank soda, and actually started exercising and continuing the exercise. It has been 2 years since I have been under 180, and a size 14 pant. My goal is to be 145ish to 150 and/or an 8 or 10 in pants. My lowest I have ever been was a 12 and that was when I was in junior high. I have not been skinny/slimmer since the end of primary school, I remember being in 5th grade and being bigger than the other girls. I just want to get to a place where I feel comfortable in my own skin and get more confidence too.
