I just joined this message board and am so thankful to have found others to encourage me (and hopefully I will encourage you) in my weight loss journey. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of five children (ages 19 down to 10). I weighed 228 on January 2, 2011. I now weigh 200. It has come off much more slowly than I had hoped but I am thankful that the scale is at least heading in the right direction. My goal weight is 160.

Hi! Im new here as well. Congrats on the 28lbs and the best of luck getting to goal. Slow and steady is the best way to keep the weight off. :-)
