Hi,
I found this site while looking for the Dr. Oz smoothie recipe. I have struggled with my weight since puberty. About 6 years ago I got my butt in gear and in less than a year I shed 85 pounds. Since, Ive gotten married, given birth, and stopped working.
Now, my son is ready for preschool, my husband is ready for me to make some money, and Im ready to start my journey towards losing 100 pounds. When I reach my goal, I will be the smallest since Jr. High School.
Im ready to head out on this dusty, ragged road, and maybe help some fellow travelers along the way!

what kind of smoothie was it? did you check his website? i drink green smoothies almost everyday and they have really helped me get more veggies in my diet.

Welcome! I'd like to know the recipe of the smoothie as well. My daughter and I have incorporated smoothies into our diets, and have found it to be a great way to get the veggies we wouldn't normally get.

if you go to Dr. Oz website and search "smoothie" there are several different ones he has featured.

if you are looking to get veggies in your diet i recommend:
1 orange (peeled) --- great for immunity and oxygen in the blood
1 apple --- an apple a day is good for gall bladder problems
2 cups of spinach or kale
2 cups of water
teaspoon flaxseed
ice

occassionally i use frozen pineapple, berries, peaches for variety
