Just graduated from college, time for a new start

  • Hey everyone! I'm a 21yo from CA and I'm about to move to Boston. I've always been overweight since maybe the 3rd grade and it is death to my self-esteem.

I'm already so inspired by all the amazing weight loss success stories I've read already! My 40-50lb goal seems like chump change next to other people! So the impossible seems possible, usually a good thing .

I've lost 47 lbs in the past, my sophomore year of high school, but I did it in a very unhealthy way. I basically ate around 700 calories or less a day. My period stopped.

Suffice to say, when I began eating again... I gained it all back. I kind of thought it was hopeless after that and that undereating was the only way I could lose weight and it just wasn't worth it. Then I just lost it the other night, I couldn't stand being stuck like this anymore. I posted a desperate thread on another forum not focused on weight loss and a user told me about the BBC documentary 10 ways of losing weight. It really cleared up my confusion from all the crazy theories, million ideas on weight loss out there and just gave it to me simply. So now here I am, and I'm gonna make it happen this time. I need support and community to make this happen.
  • You can do this!!!
