I've been trying to alternate between the treadmill and the elliptical but also throwing in the arc trainer every now and then. I'd like to start with spinning classes again but they can be a little intense and I want to make sure I have the endurance to make it through the hour before I go. I've heard about something similar to HITS, but instead of increasing the intensity or speed, you alternate between going forwards and backwards. I'm gonna give HITS a try though =) Do you ever use any work out dvds?Originally Posted by baj2010706
An hour is perfect. I started doing this thing today that my brother calls "HITS" for my cardio. It's when you increase the level on the bike, increase the incline on the ellyptical, and increase the speed on the treadmill for a minute, everyother 2 minutes. I did this spending 15 minutes on each one today and my legs feel like rubber! The weight room is a little intimidating for me too, but my brother showed me a few things to do in there. So I go in, do them ,and leave lol. I didn't get a chance to buy my shoes today but i think I'll get another pair of Nike Shox. I made the mistake and wore some form of shape ups during a work out and that's what threw my knees into a fit. So what kind of work outs do you do? I can use somemore ticks
