New in Ohio

  • Hi,

    My name is Sarrah and I am wanting to lose about 60 lbs. Right now I weight 222 and want to be down to about 160-165lbs.

    My first goal is to lose 10% of my body weight (22#'s) and then go from there. I have started walking at least 30 minutes a day and working out with a friend doing strength and weight training 2 days a week for about an hour, hour and a half each session.

    My biggest obstacle is I have severe neck pain issues and sometimes I just cannot make it out of bed because the pain is so intense.

    Well I guess I will go have a look around now.

    Any luck getting your pain treated? There are means of managing chronic pain, so I do hope you have access to good care.

    I do have a great pain management doctor who does his best to treat the pain. Unfortunatly the meds that work the best make me the laziest!

    Right now I am trying to find an eating style that works for me. I have a huge (25x25) garden and access to a lot of fresh food. I am hoping to make two meals and two snacks a day all raw, fresh veggies and fruit with some dairy for protein (I am allergic to most tree nuts and peanuts) and then have one meal a day that is cooked/includes meat.
