Hello - Needing to Get Back on Track!
 
Hello Everyone,

I went to the doctor this week and she used the "O" word... Obese! :mad:

Now, I knew how much I weighed before I went in and I knew it was creeping into the obese range, but to hear it out loud from my doctor seemed to make it very real. It is time to get back on track with my diet and exercise so I can lose about 30 pounds!

I'll be looking for a group to join to help keep me accountable! I know that exercise will be the key for me as I like to eat and 1200 calories a day is not going to cut it! I will need to burn at least 500 calories a day so I can eat a little more :D I walked for 1.5 hours today and hope to do that most days - then work up to hiking some challenging trails and then doing some trail running. I know it will take time and that is ok!

I'm looking forward to talking to others trying to get healthier!

You aren't alone. We're all trying to eat healthier, move more and maybe drop a few pounds.
