It's time...

  • Hi everyone! Brand new here. In short, I've been a dancer all my life (ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, hip hop, etc.) and was in incredible shape all through my childhood and teens because of it. I averaged about 130-135lbs at 5'7''. Now that I've been in college for the past 3 years, living on a cheap diet of ramen and with little access to a dance studio, I've packed on the pounds. The other day I weighed myself to find that I was 165, which was higher than I ever could have imaged I'd reach. I'm trying to balance my general hatred of exercise that isn't dance with my sweet tooth and my recently discovered LOVE of cooking/baking (thanks to a boyfriend who finally taught me how). I'm looking for support because I've tried turning over a new leaf SO many times and the numbers on the scale just keep getting bigger. Here's to changes!
  • Hey there Kezlyn =)

Dancing is such an amazing exercise that if you can do it anywhere or anytime I'd encourage you to continue! You always hear them say "Find an activity you love". You're lucky that you already know of one!

Have a look around and post wherever you're comfortable! Keep at it!
