:o My name is Ally and im brand new here ...I have never tried to lose weight before but I feel like as soon as I graduated high school metabolism set in.
I now have about 55lbs to lose and I want to cry every morning when I look in the mirror. I think being on here will be extremely helpful in getting back to where I need to be so that I can live a long healthy life! God Bless you all! Your stories and pictures are inspirational!!! |

We have similar stories--I gained almost 50 pounds, starting as soon as I got out of high school (10 years ago). Haven't ever really tried to lose weight until this last year. My lurking time at 3FC has played a big role in my weight loss so far- I hope it's helpful for you, too. |

Thankyou thankyou thankyou all for welcoming me! I felt very excited when I woke up this morning!
I even went to Target to get some slim fast shakes for breakfast/lunch since I dont have time to cook and since ive got three little sibilings it isnt the most healthy of meals....but now those tasty little shakes are sitting in my fridge waiting for my new star tommorow. I am also going for a walk tonight! YAY :D |

Hi. i'm sam and i'm new here also. i've been doing the weight watchers point system and so far so good. i've lost almost 20 pounds since the end of march. I've been slacking a little on the point system as it gets tedious counting everything but i think i'm staying within the range as i'm still losing. It could also be the grueling hours i'm spending at the gym also. :) I take a book with me and it seems to make the eliptical and treadmill go a little faster. someone also told me that they listen to books on the mp3 player. i've been getting alot of great tips and ideas from this website. also it's good to know your not alone!
