So far, I've lost around 25 pounds; however, I'm finding it hard to stay committed. Most of my friends are already at a healthy weight and have phenomenal metabolisms. Those that don't are not trying to lose any of their extra pounds. I figured an online support community would be just the thing to keep me motivated and on track.
The stories I've read so far are really an inspiration.While health is important to me, college life has really put my frustration with my weight over the edge. It stinks being the "fat chick" who doesn't get the guy. I'm a little upset that I've missed a lot of my "prime" to this extra baggage, but I'm determined to make up for lost time in my 20s.
I'm home for the summer and I'm ready to get started. Hoping to lose 10 to 15 pounds by the time I return to school.
