Hello!
So I came upon this community while doing a google search for the Insanity 60-day challenge and, while I typically don't get into the message-board kind of communities, this one seems like something I can get into!
About me: I've been "struggling" with my weight since like, forever, and I'm excellent at picking myself up when I fall, but I would like to master how to stay on track and make the life-long changes needed to live a healthy life. I've been there, done that and got the t-shirt when it comes to the typical "diet" and the mentality that goes along with it - I'm working on living a healthy life, for the rest of my life!
One problem I've identified is the "go it alone" strategy that I've used when it comes to this particular endeavor - even while on Weight Watchers (off and on since 2001!) I have had a tendency to keep my struggles and successes to myself. Looking at the other areas of my life where I've had success, I see that it's been key for me to work on my issues with at least one other person. So I'm finally ready to change the game up and really share and support my way to success!
I have changed the way I approached my WW meetings - I had no plans to join an online group but I happened upon this community for a reason. After all, fiercess does not exist in a vacuum - it's out there for the world to see - so let's be fierce together!!!
