Hi everyone!!!
Im new here, so hopefully im posting correctly. Ive been following all the information for ideal protein on this site, and feel like I have been getting great support by seeing everyone else having great results as well as struggles. This site REALLY helped me get through this program.
I have about 2 more weeks to go until I start phasing out (YAY!). However, my birthday will be during my phase 2, so im not sure if having a nice dinner, piece of cake and going out one night for a few drinks will be really bad to do during phase 2. I would continue phase 1 until my birthday and then start phase 2 a few days later, but I am going away May 1-30, so not sure how much that would help. I am not looking to pig out, but would just like to be able to go out and have a few drinks, and have some nice meals out once in a while. I believe that I can do this while on phase 1, without expecting weight loss, but can I have little treats while I am on phase 2 and 3? If I go out one night and have a few drinks, do I do phase 1 the next day, and then go back to phase 2?
Not sure what to do! Dont want to gain weight, or send my body into chaos.
I appreciate any help I could get.
Hi Sharon! I'm new here and I'm in the same boat. I ditched my drill sergeant at Ideal Protein once I found out that I can buy the same food from Prescriptions For Wellness for half the price and not have some chick breathing down my throat and yelling at me. The food is not private labeled so they are able to lower their price.
And I love that they have answered all my questions and concerns. They even helped me get back on track and gave me some pointers to help with my sweet tooth. Like freezing the Proti Pudding to make fudge pops. Or mixing the vanilla pudding with an Orange Smart Styx Vitamin Drink. Oh, and their bars and snacks are a perfect alternative to the potato chips. LOL I love cheetos and it was hard to quit! ;-)
Regarding the drinking.....I asked the same question. The lady over there told me that if I drank enough water to compensate, it will help me stay on track. for example..... drink an extra glass of water for every glass of alcohol. And choose your alcohol wisely. Coke is tons of sugar. beer is tons of carbs. So, make sure if you drink not to drink something that is a fu fu drink.
And after I have a night of drinking, I usually go back to phase 1 for a couple days to get my body back on track.
Hope this helps!
