Hi all I'm new to the foum.... and I am not sure where to start! So I figure I would ask... but 1st here's a little about me...
I'm a 44 yr old single Mom diagnosed with Hypothyroid (Hashimoto's) and I have yet to find a decent doctor or have my meds optimized. The word DIET makes me sick to my stomach and makes me want to eat even more! I know I need to watch what I eat... but honestly what I eat isn't "That" bad....
OK yes some of it is... I have no idea how to plan my meals, eat healthy or where to start so......... here I am..... I also have a fear I am passing my bad food discisons on to my dd... who is EXTREMELY active and a level 7 gymnast so weight isn't an issue for her yet.......... she's 11 and weighs 98 lbs of muscle
.......why am I here? I am here to learn and hopefully change my bad habits( and hopefully drop a few pounds)! I have never had a weight issue until I quit smoking in 2004(gained 10 lbs)... and then I was diagnosed with Thryroiditis in 2009(gained 20 more)....... so I'm looking for a LOT of help and Direction and I am willing to take someone's hand to guide me PLEASE
