I'm new on here but after reading posts for the last couple of hours I figured I'd post one of my own. I am 18 years old and live in Ohio.
I have been overweight my entire life. More recently I really noticed how large I have become (I gained about twenty pounds in a 5 month period). I have since started college and am determined to start off my adult life living healthy. After working out and watching what I've been eating I have been able to lose 15 lbs. in the past month. I'm really excited about how I've been able to keep up with my weight loss this long (because I usually give up after a week or so). Because of my yo yo dieting pass I'm really hoping that this site will help me stay inspired to keep going on my weight loss journey.

Good for you!! I wish when I was 18 and started a diet I would have stuck to it! You have to do it hun! I am 31 years old now and the weight just kept coming and now I sit and think if I would have just stuck to one of them I would be so skinny by now! Welcome to the site and good luck! If you set your mind to it you can do it!!
15 pounds in a month is really impressive! Keep it up, stick to it, don't let up. This is your body, and you only have one. Well, until they master a brain transfer to some sort of cloned vat creation.
