Default Hi! *waves hands*

Hello, I am a newbie and joined to be motivated by the success of others and working on being a motivation myself. I just turned 33 and am a single mom. I've been overweight most of my life and am now dealing with diabetes type 2, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and fatigue.

Today I start Diet-to-go, and am hoping that it will help eliminate some of the issues I was having with planning meals and cooking with my job and school. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and encouraging others to achieve their goals.

Hi, i'm also a newbie discovering this site only yesterday. I feel optimistic after looking through the forums and look forward to making progress. We both have the same target weight which hopefully we will be able to achieve with the support and advice here. Good Luck

Thanks. I just started yesterday. I got on the scale this AM and in horror I was heavier than I thought I was. I def. have to stick with this.

They cook and prepare your meals and deliver them to you or a local distrubution center for you to pick up. They have 3 different plans Low Fat, Vegetarian(which are 1200 cal or 1600 cal) and then they have low carb(which is like the Atkins).


I work crazy hours and is also going to Grad school. I'm not fond of meal planning. So this helps take the guess work out of that. I'm hoping to gradually integrate back to making my own meals as I take some of the things they do and do them on my own.
