  • Hello! I'm new here and figured I needed a website to check and motivate myself with positive posts and people who are all in the same boat as me. So, here I am! Hope to talk to you all soon~

    Pets: 2 fat kittys who need to diet with me.

    Hobbies/Interests: Gaming, Art, going out with friends, reading.

    Eye/Hair Color: Blue and black

    Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: 12/29/2010

    Starting Weight: 308lbs.

    Present Weight: 298lbs

    Goal Weight: 200

    Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Working out

    Following any specific plan: Calorie counting and dieters green tea.

    What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I -really- want it. I used to get so comfortable going " I lost 10 pounds, my pants fit better! I feel great, Im going to celebrate with a cheeseburger.." Yeah.. not going to do that this time.

    Anything else you would like to share with us: I really would like to get to 200 this year.. I'm not sure if I could do that and 250 would be great also.

    We have a great Calorie Counters forum here. You also might want to look at the 20-somethings, for those in that age group.

    As for motivation...well, I don't rely on it. Sometimes it's there, and sometimes it isn't. Instead, I made a commitment to myself that I will stick with my plan. It isn't always easy, but the commitment means that I get it done, even if I don't necessarily feel like it.

    Something to consider, anyway. Jump on in, get posting, and get going. Can't wait to get to know you better!
