Lightbulb 2nd day on diet

Well I staarted my morning off with gritts and eggs and a glass of milk I hope thats not to bad. Throughout the day I had water and v8 juice and for dinner I had a salad with a few slices of meat and cheese... so what do you think?

What happened to lunch? What kind of V8 juice. Your salad sounds pitiful. You need more food.

So how are you deciding what you should eat?

You could try adding some grains or maybe nuts like cashews in your day. They help keep you fuller longer and it makes it easier to not get off track.

Honestly, it sounds like you are eating what you *think* a diet menu looks like instead of planning out a healthful, nutritious day. The only reason I say that is because I recognize it

How are you tracking your food? Calorie counting? Weight Watchers? My gut feeling is that you are taking a stab in the dark. If you want to get serious about getting healthy, do a little reading and find out what is right for you and your lifestyle. I would be happy to give specific advice, but since I don't know your height/weight/ lifestyle, it would be awful hard for me to say anything productive or helpful.

Just eyeballing what you had today, your calorie count is probably ok, but what you ate is not enough fuel for your body, especially since you had a liquid lunch. Sadly, it isn't long term sustainable to eat like that.

Get back to us with more info and I am sure you will have loads of help moving forward!
