Default Howdy from Houston! Looking for Motivation!

Hello to everyone! I stumbled accross this website online while bored at work and thought the name was hillarious so I decided to join. Ive never done this sort of thing before, so here goes nothin! lol I am currently undergoing a massive overhaul of my life. Im 80 lbs down and going strong, but hitting some speed bumps along the way. I am soon to be starring in a reality documentary program, and was hoping to maybe meet or talk with others who have experienced the same.
Needing to reevaluate my motives and hoping to meet some people who can relate.

Welcome. This is definitely the place for motivation. Can you tell us more about the documentary? Do they also help you stay on track?

The show I am participating in is called Heavy and will air on A&E in January.
I have a had a personal trainer since the beginning, as well as a gym mebership, provided by the network. It has been both a blessing and a curse to be honest.
A blessing because I finally feel like Im starting to get my life back, but a curse in the way of any reality tv show goes, I guess.lol Having cameras in every aspect of your personal life can be very taxing, indeed.

I was also on a reality show once..so I can totally relate. Mine wasn't about weightloss but nonetheless they got into my personal life and also they took comments I made out of context etc. I was not impressed and would not do it again. But I also didn't get anything out of it like in your case a pt and gym membership.

Thank goodness, somebody who knows where Im coming from! Its crazy right? Everyone is so infatuated witht he idea of being on tv, and I was just sort of like "meh, whatever..." I was so ready for peace and quiet and just normality to be back in my life, it was ridiculous.
I will say this, I certainly look at reality tv programs in a whole new light

BA HA HA! When I started reading your post, I swear it could have been written by me! Well, until you got up to the reality TV part. ;-)

What has been your motivation up to this point? Is it solely the TV show keeping you going?
