I have been cursed with wide hips, a weak (at best) metabolism and haven't known much of anything besides "being chubby". Last night I had seen my younger sister and couldn't believe how much weight she had gained in a short time all from being lazy and having a poor diet. It caused me to realize that I don't want to suffer the same fate - especially with the heart problems my family is prone to.
I have already begun to make a dent in my weight by changing my eating habits and mindset that "it's not what you eat but how much and how often you eat it"; as well as taking more and more walks during the week. I have seen nothing but encouragement as I've lurked this site and it has made me want to purchase a scale and join the weight loss bandwagon!
