Newbie; A friendly hello.
Hello Everyone,
I just recently signed up for this forum. I am currently in the midst of altering my lifestyle and found myself in need of support, guidance, and interaction with those going through the same failures and successes.
I fell earlier this year; dislocating and breaking my ankle and my fibula. The damage would not have been as severe had I not weight 328lbs. Being in my second to last quarter in college and close enough to taste graduation, I was determined to finish. This entire wake up call was my last straw. In June, I enrolled at a local gym and signed up for personal training. After going through two trainers that just "disappeared", I am finally [two weeks - yes, it took until October to have a steady trainer] into an intense regiment. Regardless of the personal training obstacle... I managed to get myself down to 294lbs.
Here I sit, seeing the result in my face and in my clothes but still with 144lbs left to lose.
That is my story to date, and I am not ready to close the book on it yet.
