I signed up a year or so back posted an intro and didn't do one thing as usual.
My name is Jan and I live in KY. I am full time working wife and mother. I have 3 kids. Two daughters on their own and a 15 yo son who just started high school.
I am 44 years old and about 60 to 75 pounds overweight. My problems is I get really motivated for a week or so then I just quit. I am needing a program that I can start slowly. I am a person who cannot make major changes overnight. I need to ease into things. I need to either start with a food plan first or an exercise plan. I am thinking exercise first because I am always out of breathe just walking to and from my car at work. Walking up one flight of stairs or even cleaning house. My knees are starting to hurt more.
I really would like suggestions or what others have to done to get started. My other problem is I don't really have a good support group. My husband and son are not the most encouraging people. At the same time my weight is not an issue with my husband.

Welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Support Group or Challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated, find one that inspires you or fits your needs, and just post to join.
