Hey, I'm new here! :)
So I was always about average weight until I hit puberty. I starting gaining weight out of nowhere and didn't really know what to do. My parents are divorced and neither of them knew much about nutrition, so I started packing on the weight. I realized this and went vegetarian when I was 12 (and have been since then) but that didn't really help. I continued to gain weight and when I left middle school I weighed around 140 pounds.
In high school, i didn't have a lot of friends and I quit the lacrosse team in 10th grade due to the way the girls on the team treated me. I continued to gain weight throughout high school and graduated at about 200 pounds.
I am now a sophomore in college and I am looking to change my body drastically. I don't really have a lot of support from my family or my friends so I guess this is why I stumbled across this site. I really need people to motivate me to continue losing weight. I was able to lose 30 pounds last year, but I gained it all back when I went home for break. I currently weigh 206 pounds and my overall goal weight is 130.
If anyone can help me with diet/exercise tips please do so! I also would like to meet new people and encourage them. I am currently taking a nutrition class and we have to track our eating habits as well as activities so I have been doing that for the past week now. Thanks for reading!
