I've been a lurker for quite some time now reading many posts on the weight loss programs and fitness videos that everyone has been using. I've used them to influence the programs that I have used so far in my routines. I figure I should finally join and have an outlet and a new support system, which is something I really need!
I'm 23 years old and at my heaviest was 279lbs. That was June 21st, 2010, and as of today, I'm 264 lbs. I've been using the iPod/iPhone application LoseIt to chart my caloric intake daily. The first fifteen pounds that I lost simply came from making changes to my diet. By eating healthier, I already feel better physically and mentally. I'm getting married on September 23, 2011, and I've come to the conclusion that there is no time like the present to get my life and weight back in order NOW.
I've started walking 2.5 miles a three days a week with my puppy, and I'm currently reaching my end of the first week of both Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred and the Biggest Losers 30 Day Jump Start. Upon completion of these programs, I'm starting a CLX and TurboJam hybrid.
I'm very excited to finally be a member and I cannot wait to reach my goal of 150 lbs.
