Konnichiwa
Hello from Japan. My name is Alana, I live in Okinawa, Japan with my husband who is stationed here with the U.S. Marine Corps. I have, like many others, struggled with my weight for many years, since puberty. I finally started making progress upon arrival in Japan almost 3 years ago and I went from 175 to 147 in a little over 2 years (most of it in about a year). Last year my husband deployed to Afghanistan and I gained back to 155, then when he got home i put another 10ish back on. My ideal weight would be 130-135. I suffer from anxiety and ADD. As well as a severe lack of motivation and a love of all things edible. I am trying to get me and my husband in a healthy eating habit for our return to the US sometime late this year, early next. I am terrified of going back and eating all things fast food (not a lot of fast food here in Okinawa) like I used to. We also plan on starting a family in the next few years and I would like to be fit and healthy at that time.
I hope I can get the most from this site and effectively loose the weight.
