My first post..and I must admit I need some support! This past year has been rough and I have gained an unwanted excess of 35 pounds, ugh!! I recently broke my ankle, and have been laid up for a month and in effort not to gain any more weight I just ordered the 4 week starter kit of Wonderslim and I am really hopeful I will stick to it. I need to get control back of what I put in my mouth. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2004 and successfully lost a lot of weight, but this last year has been tough. I took on 3 jobs, and in doing I was shoving whatever was easiest down my throat, and wah-la, I am now heading down a dark road that I thought I would never have to face again. I am now down to one job, but with this bum ankle I am STILL eating horribly. This site has been inspirational, and have been both overweight, and almost underweight at points in my life I am hoping to find that happy medium. I am looking forward to starting Wonderslim and more importantly, being done with this life long battle once and for all.
Welcome to the site, and good luck w/ your journey!!! You'll find a lot of good forums around the site for support and encouragement...take advantage of them and use them to inspire you to get back on that horse and ride it into your goal range!!!
Welcome. I suggest you look for a Support Group or Challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated, find one that inspires you or fits your needs, and just post to join.
It sounds like you are already doing a couple of key things RIGHT--first off, you are coming here..secondly, you have put a plan in place...now, don't wait until the order comes--start working your plan NOW by eating healthful foods in mindful moderation...last, you can definitely do some other things exercise wise without your ankle..discover those things and do them...
Good luck and I look forward to reading you on the boards.
For the record, for me I will never be done with the battle. It is one after the other--day after day. This is my reality.

Welcome to the boards. That does sound frustrating but you seem to have found a bright side in there somewhere. I hope you find it as helpful here as so many of us.
