Hello All,

I just stopping by to post a bit about me. I live in Canada, in Windsor, Ontario. It is located right across from Detroit, Mi. I join this site to help me lose weight. I want to lose about 50 to 70 pounds. I am about 200 pounds. The last time I was at the doctor's he was starting to get worried. My blood work was all normal. And really have no idea why I can't lose much. He told me to keep a written journal, so I went one better, I am doing it on line.

So I am going to be doing the blog

Welcome. Since Chicks can be overwhelming at first, I suggest you look for a support group or challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated. Find one you like that fits your needs, or inspires you, and just post to join.

I totally agree with this post. I was lurking at first but it wasn't until I found a group that I really started to focus on weight loss, eating healthy, and getting fit. Now, I post daily as a reminder to myself that I need to change.

I'm from the woodstock area. Welcome to 3FC. I only joined last week so I am new here as well. It's great to see fellow canucks on here. There is a support group for canadians so maybe check it out too

LADYBUGANGEL ~ yes, we have a CANADIAN SUMMER THREAD in the Support Groups forum; be sure to drop by for a visit sometime. There are a lot of Canadians on this site; you will see them all over the place. Journalling what you eat is a great idea; it really helps you to see where you can make some improvements.
