Default new! lol

Hello everyone My name is jaclyn, and im horrible with anything grammer, so if my post are hard to read im so sorry. I can't spell and i put comma where they don;t need to be lol. anywho... I'm 22 and 186 pounds, and now ya'll are the only ones who know that not even my boyfriend knows lol. I would love to be 120 pounds or the equivelent of a size 3, and i'm finally ready to start towards my goal after two years of putting it off. it doesnt help either that my boyfriend is 6 foot tall, weights 155 and has a six pack. lol that should be all the motivation i need right? but here i was procrastinateing for 2 years. BUT THAT IS OVER AND DONE! i found you guys and yal are so motivational, i think that haveing yal as a support group is what is going to get me to my goal! you guys rock i've been reading your storys for about a month and i finally have the courage to join yal i hope we can all motivate eachother along the way! thanks for listening to me ramble on lol

Hi Jaclyn...

I know what you mean about not wanting people to know your weight... especially your boyfriend... mine doesn't know how much I weigh... he says stuff like... well you don't weigh more than me... and I think... are you having a laugh?? I know I weigh more than him. I really don't want to so here I am, sat typing to you, feeling ever so hungry... but I've had breakfast and lunch... just no snacking in between and that's what my body is missing... anyway, I figure that if my stomach is craving food and I don't feed it, it will start to burn the fat instead. Im not sure what a size 3 would be in the UK... I'd be more than happy if I could get down to 126 lbs (9 stone) and wear UK size 10 clothes... in fact I'd be over the moon!

Anyway, I'm rambling (probably because I'm trying to ignore my rumbly tummy) Good luck with your weight loss! Do you have goal of when you want to achieve it by? I'm aiming for Christmas.

Welcome. Since Chicks can be overwhelming at first, I suggest you look for a support group or challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated. Find one you like that fits your needs, or inspires you, and just post to join.

Maybe you and BF can workout/exercise/be active together. If he is active and takes care of himself, I'm sure he would be more than willing to help you with a plan.

Telling my boyfriend my weight was
the hardest thing I had to do. BUT it
helped a lot because he's always there
to encourage me. I get to rant about
being at 143 then up to 144 to him and
he's completely fine with my weight. He just
tells me to dust myself off and that there's
another day! Good luck on your weight loss.
