Time To Shape Up
Hello Everybody,
I am 48 years old, mother to 5 children ranging from 25 to 15 and a DH. I work part time.
At the moment I weigh 14 stone 9lbs. I would be very happy to weigh 10st 7lbs, but could well settle for 11 stone. I never gained weight until my late twenties and at that stage had a lot of bad habits and was too busy with small children to pay too much attention. Have lost the weight over the years but always went back on again. For the last 10 years my weight has been steadily increasing and I have not been able to keep it off.
I am now at the stage where I have aching knees, my feet are getting out of shape and I just feel generally unhealthy. I can only manage short walks. At 48 I really need to be much healthier to, hopefully, sail through my 50's and beyond!
I know all the do's and dont's, but need to put it into practice.
I am hoping that posting here will help to keep me focused and motivated.
