Default Just saw myself in a bathing suit...

I was here once before and lost 40 pounds. I was on the fast track to Slimville until life happened. Within the last six months I have to deal with the death of my children's father and deal with the aftermath that came with that. I also lost my job and started doing badiily in school because of everything. I started to fall into a depression and eat...and eat...and eat.

Today I took my kids to the pool. As one of them waited in line at the bathroom I looked at myself in the mirror for the first time in months. My 40 pounds came back with a vegegence. So, here I am...wanting the support to lose the 40 and more (total of 70 I think)...

So, Hi! Hope to get to know some of you soon.

Wow, I am very sorry to hear about all you have had to deal with lately. It's no wonder that you have had difficulty with weight during that time. Stressful events are the worst for those of us with weight problems.

I know that it was not great to see yourself in the mirror in your swimsuit, but if that's what it took to help you realize you wanted to lose again, then maybe it was a good thing.

The very fact that you are back on here shows that you are ready to get back into life after all that has happened to you. Congrats to you for taking this step!

We will all be right here for you anytime you need support. You are definitely not alone. Good luck and keep posting on the awesome progress I know that you will make!
