Default Hello, world

Finally. A place where everyone's going through the same thing I am!
I've been overweight all my life. I've never really known anything other than that. I've also been dieting all my life. And, well, I'm tired of "starting tomorrow". My weight's really getting me down, sure, but I'd love to do it for the health of the future. I'd like to be in well enough health to run and play with my crazy dog, and not want to throw up afterwards.
I've worked out every now and then, but always find excuses not to. Then, the gym membership gets dusty and I end up losing money
I've cut out (sorta...) sugary sodas and am now sipping down the ol' Diet Coke. However, how amazing would it be to drink nothing but water?
My problem is eating (of course). Overeating at meals, bored eating, emotional eating... And then, of course there's the excuses. Veggies and fruits go bad to quickly. Gym memberships are too expensive.
So here I am, seeking support, stories, advice, and maybe handing out a bit in the process.
Here's to a successful weight loss journey.

You can do it! Focus on getting rid of one pound at a time and it will add it up faster than you think. Good luck.

Welcome TeslaGirl...I'm new too and can relate to your struggles. It's not easy making a lifestyle change and that's truly what it is. I think my biggest challenge is the exercise. But I've found that once I started eating healthier my energy level increased and I've become a bit more active naturally. You can do this!! I'm still checking out this site but from what I've seen so far I can tell we'll find much support and inspiration from other members. Good Luck! I just know you'll reach your goals.
