Just a quick intro...36 year old Mom to 4 (14, 7, 5 & 2), highest non-pregnant weight was 218 in 2007, lowest was 143 in 2008. Have tried it all, Jenny Craig, WW, Dr.B, Atkins, SB, etc.
I fight my weight constantly and know I have to low carb to lose - keto diets work for me. I just have to commit, which I have. I have gone from 189 on Feb 1 to 167 today and will get to 140 this year.
Multiple pregnancies, overweight parents and my own self-sabotaging have had me in the obese BMI range every couple years but I started running, stopped having babies and am ready to make the LC lifestyle and exercise a daily event. I have little people watching me every second and want to influence them in a positive way. Problem is my family and a few close friends try to feed me all the time..........I think THEY feel better about themselves when I am fat. This is not about vanity to me, it's about mortality.
