Default Greetings From Detroit

Guh... I have to find my scale, dust it off, and climb aboard - and after reading some of the adventurous, sensitive, encouraging, and supportive threads here I think I can heft myself up and just do it.

I don't want to - oh man - I do not want to see the number on that scale.

As I turn 47, and having become an early post-menopausal, my whole body just wants to grow-up and get healthy.

I'm newly vegan, gluten-free and if you can believe it, sugar free and I feel better. Somehow - I can still make all that not all much of a diet. I suspect it has a lot to do with portion size.

Very happy to be here, and I appreciate the work that goes into running a site this size, and the time people take to share!
