Hi! :P

  • Hello everyone,

My name is Jennie and I have always been up and down with my weight. I lost most of it during my last 2 years of high school, and gained all plus more of it while dating my ex. Long story short, I reached my highest weight of 300lbs. I couldn't believe what I saw on the scale, it was horrifying to me since 4 years prior I was very healthy and active and I felt as though all my hard work in high school had been for nothing. I had just gotten out of the hospital from having my gallbladder removed and it was time for a change. I began eating smaller portions and working out regularly. Its been about a year now since then, and I have lost 90lbs, bringing me to a weight of 210lbs. But I'm not finished yet, I do plan on losing another 60-70lbs. I just wanted a place where I can talk to others about their goals, and to help keep me motivated.

  • Way to go on 90 pounds in a year, that's fantastic!
  • Thank you so much! I don't have too many pictures of the before, I kept away from cameras..lol but ill try to get some before and after pics up.
  • 90 pounds in a year? That's incredible. I'm hoping I can get myself going, and make out as good as you did. Congratulations, really. That's wonderful. Were you eating any specific combinations of foods or doing certain exercises?
  • Im eating low fat, low carb. I tend to get sick fairly easy with foods since my gallbladder removal. I have recently been trying a flaxseed meal shake as well. As far as exercises, I was doing a pilates/resistance band video but that was getting a bit easy for me. One of my good girlfriends told me to try jillian michaels 30 day shred video with her and I am currently on my last day of level 2. Ive lost 10lbs since starting this video. I do plan on starting p90x after im dont with jillians program.
