Hi! I'm Emma. I'm 20, and I'm am hoping to lose about 50 pounds (I'm at 185 now, 5'5".) I guess I just got sick of being heavier than all my friends, always feeling self-conscious about my body, and not having as much energy as I did a few year ago. It's hard to get motivated and I keep relapsing. I'll be really motivated one day and slack off the next.
I've been reading the post on the site during the last week or so, and you all seem so nice and supportive! And having someone to talk to about losing weight and to keep you accountable for your actions is a big motivator. So I am hoping joining this forum will help! Does anyone want to be my support buddy and keep each other on track?
I'm excited to meet you all and good luck with your own goals!

Hi Emma!

We have a ton of places to look here - including the "20-somethings", for those in that age range, as well as groups by eating plan and a whole lot of miscellaneous challenges and groups. So look around, find a spot, and settle in...you'll find a ton of buddies and check-in threads, and whole groups of people to talk with.

Anyway, jump on in, post, and keep going. I can't wait to see you around and get to know you better!
